Glenn County is recruiting individuals to fill one full-time Public Service Employee positions. The PSE IV – Building Crafts Worker position in the County Facilities Department a division of the Glenn County General Services Agency, under close supervision, performs a variety of duties to assist in the construction, maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment. This position is at-Will and seasonal, reports to the Facilities Operations Manager performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled crafts work and may be scheduled for up to forty (40) hours per week with an anticipated maximum of 960 hours per fiscal year. This recruitment may be used to establish a list to fill future vacancies for the next six (6) months.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
Experience: Two (2) years journey level experience in electrical, carpentry or plumbing.
License: Valid State of California driver’s license.
Background: Applicants must pass a standard criminal history and background check at time of hire. Candidates assigned to work in County Public Safety/Law Enforcement facilities may also be subject to additional background check requirements, including local, state, and national fingerprinting through agencies such as the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation.
