The Position

The Human Resources IT Manager - HRIS/HRMS (Manager) will possess in-depth knowledge of the functions of human resources in a large, complex organization and how HR programs and software work within a company's culture and infrastructure.

 

With an eye toward innovation and with a balance of the practical, the Manager will implement, maintain, and enhance HR related information and management systems and will develop and implement long-term and short-term automation strategies to streamline HR programs.

 

The Human Resources Department is looking to streamline the software we use to make the employee experiences seamless through their career at the County. The Manager will ensure all HR-related systems are harmonious for the user, will stay updated and compliant with Federal, State, and labor regulations, and will translate technical information to simple language that any employee can understand.

 

The Manager will stay current with trends and resources in information technology, evaluate, plan, and implement the department's needs, have strong technical expertise, and communicate effectively with executive leadership, HR Managers, and Department business users.

 

Qualifications

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to qualify is:

 

Three years of analytical or administrative experience that involved the application of data processing principles and techniques.
