The Event Security Operations Manager (SM3) plays a vital senior role in the management of security, medical response and emergency contingency plans for events occurring on the Stanford campus. The SM3 will provide guidance, negotiate with, influence and support university leaders on matters of safety and security that have a campus-wide impact. The SM3 will be responsible establishing security plans and ensuring medical response plans are in place for the 300+ planned events that occur on campus each year including procuring and scheduling security and supplemental medical personnel to staff events. The SM3 will ensure the successful execution of security operations at events, working in collaboration with sworn personnel.
