Under general supervision of the Program Coordinator, staff is responsible for planning and implementing daily age-appropriate activities including crafts, games, songs, drama, storytelling, and supervised play.
Under general supervision, lead, and conduct activities in the delivery of recreation program areas including camps, preschool, tots, after school programs, parks and nature, teens, boxing, youth and adult sports, special events, and active adults; oversee the proper use of indoor and outdoor community recreational facilities, perform a variety of custodial tasks; assist the public and staff in their use of the facility.
Distinguishing Characteristics:
The Urban Forestry Division of the City of Fremont has two paid internships available for immediate hiring. The Tiny Tots Instructor will teach assigned classes of pre-school children ranging in ages from 18 months to 5 years old in enrichment, recreational and educational based programming (Tiny Tots Aide will assist).

The Position
The Solid Waste Manager reports directly to the Environmental Services Manager and is responsible for the administration of multiple integrated waste management contracts and programs within the Environmental Services Division. This position supervises a team of technical staff who execute various integrated solid waste management activities and may serve as the division head in the absence of the Environmental Services Manager.
