This position is a working level civilian class in law enforcement, performing a variety of non-sworn duties in support of law enforcement activities. THE POSITION
- Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Director of Engineering and Maintenance, the Ferry Project Engineer will act as marine technical resources for issues related to Golden Gate Ferry Fleet. This position will be assigned to high-dollar complex vessel projects that require complicated processes, such as but not limited to, developing and/or overseeing the preparation of specifications, drawings, and procurement documents necessary to advertise, proceed to competitive bid, and manage the project through completion.
