Glenn County Health and Human Services Agency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to serve as a Volunteer Behavioral Health Hearing Officer. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring fair and just hearings for individuals facing behavioral health challenges. As a Hearing Officer, you will be responsible for conducting hearings, reviewing cases, and making decisions that uphold the rights and well-being of those involved. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the mental health and overall welfare of your community. This role meets all requirements for a hearing officer set forth by CA Welf & Inst Code § 5256.1 (2022).
 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: Five years' experience in mental health.

License: The certification review hearing officer shall be either a state qualified administrative law hearing officer, a physician and surgeon, a licensed psychologist, a registered nurse, a lawyer, a certified law student, a licensed clinical social worker, a licensed marriage and family therapist, or a licensed professional clinical counselor.

The City of Belmont Police Department is looking for individuals interested in supporting the City's public safety initiatives as a Reserve Police Officer. 

Reserve peace officers are required by Commission Regulations 1950-1955 to meet the same selection standards (e.g. personal history investigation and medical and psychological screening) as full-time regular officers. Commission Regulation 1007(a) outlines the minimum training requirements for reserve peace officers.

The Rocklin Police Department is offering excellent training and police experience, in lieu of pay, for those individuals interested in raising the level of their law enforcement careers.
