This position in the General Services Department, under general supervision performs a variety of technical para-professional administrative duties in support of fiscal and accounting, and requires the knowledge of the terminology, procedures, and practices for the assigned functional area; and performs related work as assigned. This position is full-time, and is scheduled for forty (40) hours per week.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Custodian position at the Glenn County General Services Department performs a variety of custodial / janitorial duties throughout the County of Glenn. These may include but are not limited to: sweeping, mopping, buffing and polishing floors; vacuuming and shampooing carpets; spot cleaning carpets; cleaning and sanitizing restrooms; cleaning / sweeping exterior walkways, removing trash and debris. Receives immediate supervision from the Lead Custodian or other higher-level supervisory and management staff. This position is scheduled to work Monday - Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
