THE OPPORTUNITY
The City of Pacifica is recruiting for a Public Works Superintendent within the Department of Public Works. Under direction of the Field Services Manager, the incumbents will be responsible for the field services of the Public Works Department. They will plan, organize, and direct the work of field personnel and perform related work as required. Woodside Fire Protection District offers an exceptional Cadet Program for individuals interested in a career in the Fire Service. Cadets gain hands-on experience participating in training and public service events. Cadets work 24-hour shifts and ride-along on emergency calls.
Woodside Cadets will work and be involved in:
Emergency calls, firefighter training, public education events, fire prevention, station duties, CERPP, CPR/first aid training. They must also meet monthly hour requirements and attend monthly training drills.
