The City of Healdsburg is seeking a full-time Senior Civil Engineer to join the Public Works Department. This position will have a primary focus on the City’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP). The salary range for the Senior Civil Engineer position is $122,746.56 - $149,774.88 annually. In addition to a competitive salary, retirement through CalPERS and generous benefits package, you may be eligible for a hiring incentive and relocation assistance:

• Up to $2,500 upon hire and $2,500 upon successful completion of probation.
• Relocation Assistance up to $2,500 for candidates outside of a 100-mile radius of the city.

The Air District is currently accepting applications for the position of Principal Air Quality Engineer in the Engineering Division. This is an open recruitment for one (1) vacancy which is a full-time, represented position.

About the Position
The AB617 Principal Engineer (AB617 Role) will join a high performing and motivated team of professionals who work in partnership with the communities most impacted by air pollution.  You will have the opportunity to contribute to the successful preparation and implementation of community-scale air quality plans in partnership with Air District staff, community members, partner organizations, local governments, the California Air Resources Board, and other state agencies.  With knowledge of the Air District’s permitting and risk reduction programs, you will lead the division’s participation in internal and external AB617 engagement, including communicating the role of the division; analyzing, reporting, and presenting information about stationary sources, emission inventories, permits, and risk reduction; participating in community meetings; proposing and guiding discussions on emission reduction strategies and development of plans and programs to implement environmental justice and civil rights.
 
The Principal Air Quality Engineer for the Engineering Division may perform the other complex and highly specialized air quality engineering work such as, but not limited to, processing permit applications for complex facilities; analyzing air emissions and other metadata; evaluating program effectiveness; and providing project leadership. The Principal Air Quality Engineers review, mentor staff, and provides training. The Principal Air Quality Engineer may also participate or lead complex, sensitive and controversial projects.  The incumbent in this position may provide technical presentations on complex and/or sensitive engineering activities to the Board of Directors, public, industry, or other agencies.  The Principal Air Quality Engineer will also represent the Air District while participating in working groups comprised of public, industry and other agencies. Researches, develops, and documents guidance for calculating emissions.

Salary Range

The Public Works Technology Services Division is recruiting a full-time on-site Microsoft Windows Desktop Support Engineer (Network Engineer) . The Desktop Support Engineer an individual contributor role includes day-to-day desktop support , user support, patch management , system administration and maintenance . The environment includes Windows based dev ices, approx imately 50 servers , mobile devices, running on multiple network segments . In the Transportation Division of the Public Works Department, incumbents are responsible for: Assisting with research, planning, conceptual design, and delivery of transportation and parking projects; drafting public notification materials, assisting with organizing and/or attending outreach events, and conducting in-person outreach; producing maps and graphics for transportation projects and parking operations; assisting with the City's coordination and monitoring of privately-operated shared mobility programs, including bicycle sharing and scooter sharing; assisting with preparation of transportation plans and policy documents, including the Pedestrian Master Plan Update, transportation impact analysis guidelines, and Complete Streets Policy implementation guidelines; and supporting the ongoing operation of the City's demand-based parking pricing program (goBerkeley), including conducting periodic data collection, analyzing data in Excel and GIS, and assisting with preparation of parking policy documents.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A typical way of gaining the knowledge, skills, and abilities for this classification is:
Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college with major coursework in city, regional, or urban planning, or a closely related field. Progressively responsible related experience may be substituted for the college coursework on a year-for-year basis.

A valid California driver's license is desirable. Must be able to attend evening meetings as required.
