WR MECHANIC I - $6,757.36 - $8,199.65 MONTHLY
WR MECHANIC II - $7,621.28 - $9,249.76 MONTHLY

Water Resources Mechanics perform a wide range of tasks involving mechanical maintenance and repairs of pumps, plumbing systems, electric motors, compressors, piping, boilers, underground infrastructure, facilities and buildings, carpentry, HVAC systems, mechanical drives, gear boxes, blowers, collectors, belt filter presses, and chemical feed systems. The work is done at the Water Reclamation Plant, located at 101 West Jack London Boulevard in Livermore.

A Water Resources Mechanic I performs a range of tasks requiring journey level mechanical ability and aptitude. Work assignments are performed according to established rules and procedures. Independent judgment is required and is supported at regular intervals by supervisory review and direction. A Water Resources Mechanic II is distinguished from the WR Mechanic I by the possession of advanced journey level mechanical ability and aptitude and is responsible for solving more difficult technical problems.

StopWaste is hiring an Energy Council Program Services Specialist to work on Bay Area Regional Energy Network (BayREN) programs. The position will conduct community outreach and engage with stakeholders to make energy upgrades and electrify multifamily and single family buildings in Alameda County and the larger Bay Area. It will also work on growing and strengthening the clean energy workforce to help achieve energy and climate goals. The ideal candidate will have deep experience engaging and developing relationships with community partners. The position may be filled at the Program Services Specialist I, II, or Senior role depending on the applicant pool and the discretion of StopWaste staff.

The City of Berkeley is seeking a Housing Development Specialist (Community Development Project Coordinator)! In this role you will have the opportunity to be part of the team responsible for implementing the City’s Housing Trust Fund and Small Sites Programs. This position will work on renovations and new construction projects, the latter of which will include developments at the North Berkeley and Ashby BART sites. You'll work closely with nonprofit developers to underwrite project proposals, recommend funding, negotiate loan and regulatory agreements, and monitor project progress. You will also provide technical assistance and capacity building support to smaller, emerging developers.

As a contributing member of Housing and Community Services Division (HCS) and the Health, Housing and Community Services Department (HHCS), this position is part of a team that is dedicated to enhancing community life and supporting housing, health, and wellness for all. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A typical way of gaining the knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position is:
Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college with major coursework in business, planning, or public administration or a closely related field and four (4) years of professional project management experience in community development, such as housing, economic development, public works, or planning. Lead and/or supervisory experience is desirable.

A master's degree in a related program is desirable and can be substituted for one (1) year of the required experience.

Must be able to attend evening meetings. A valid California driver's license is desirable.
