We are now hiring Recreation Specialists to provide hands-on support a wide variety of programs including summer camps, after school programs, recreation centers, community events and senior center programs for approximately 10-20 hours per week. This is an exceptional job opportunity for enthusiastic and responsible applicants to join the City of Menlo Park team and gain valuable work experience with an outstanding local government.
A Dance Instructor (Program Specialist) will plan, prepare and instruct recreation activities. Activities may include art, cooking, dance, pre-school program and other program areas. Programs are designed for children ages 4-17 (primarily 5-12) years of age.
Dance programs may include ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, ballroom, folkloric, salsa, and rhythmic international styles.
