THE POSITION OF BODY WORN CAMERA PROGRAM MANAGER
Is a vital non-sworn position that manages the Body Worn Camera Program and assists members of the Police Department with managing body worn camera equipment, the assignment of the devices, replacing worn/and or damaged equipment, assists with training the police officers who wear them and assist in the maintenance of body worn camera equipment. This includes managing all aspects of digital multimedia collected by body worn cameras, including receiving, cataloging, redacting, and coordinating with the Property Unit to ensure proper maintenance of custody of evidentiary audio/video collected and stored in a digital format.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to provide highly responsible staff assistance in the development, administration and expansion of this program.
