Individuals in this class may have minimal direct experience and will work under immediate supervision while learning job tasks. As an incumbent’s responsibilities and breadth of knowledge increase and as they gain experience, they can reasonably expect the complexity of their assignments and/or responsibility to increase. General supervision is provided by a higher level professional or management position.  A Recreation Leader may provide lead direction to part-time or seasonal employees if applicable. Under the general direction of the Recreation Supervisor or the Parks & Recreation Director. with project oversight by Recreation Supervisor, the Recreation Leader assists with developing, organizing, implementing, and leading a broad range of recreational activities and programs for all ages designed to meet the community needs and performs other related work required. 

Part-Time: Up to 20 hours a week 

The City of Patterson is currently recruiting to fill one (1) vacancy for a part-time Facility Custodian with the Recreation & Community Services Department and to establish an Eligibility List.

Duties include, but are not limited to: under general supervision, performs routine custodial and cleaning duties in municipal buildings and adjacent grounds; performs related work as assigned.

This is a part time position with hours up to 19 hours per week.  Must be available to work nights and weekends with varying shifts and schedules.  

The City of Patterson is seeking to fill one (1) part-time vacancy for a Facility Attendant in the Recreation Department and to establish an eligibility list.

Duties include, but are not limited to: under direct supervision, performs a variety of facility related tasks to ensure effective operations at the Recreation and Community Services Complex and related facilities and parks. Prepares facilities for use; works with users during events; provides set-up and arrangements for classes, meetings, and public and private events; registers participants for recreational programs; assists with cleaning and maintaining of Community Services' facilities including removing and disposing of trash, sweeping, and mopping of floors.  Provides staff support for recreation events and programs. 

This is a part-time position with hours up to 19 hours per week.  Must be available to work nights and weekends with varying shifts and schedules.
