The City of Berkeley is seeking applications for a part-time Mealsite Coordinator! In this role, you will be responsible for setting up mealsite areas in preparation for senior meal service as well as assigning and training volunteers. You'll work with other administrative and support staff to ensure efficient and timely meal service delivery at a senior center.
The anticipated schedule for this part-time role is Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A typical way of gaining the knowledge, skills, and abilities outlined above is:
Equivalent to completion of the eighth grade, one (1) year food service experience or six (6) months experience in coordinating a service delivery program preferably in a food service area, including required statistical reporting and accurate recordkeeping.
Other requirements: Must be able to lift containers weighing up to 30 pounds.
