The City of Sunnyvale is seeking to fill the position of term-limited, full-time Sustainability Librarian in Adult Services with energetic and highly motivated individuals who possess excellent customer service, technical and interpersonal skills. 

The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with the public in a fast-paced full-service library environment and a strong interest in sustainability. Key responsibilities include creating new and innovative programs for the public, using state-of the-art technology to develop library content, and selecting interesting and relevant titles for the collection. Special projects may include expanding the Library's community engagement and outreach activities, particularly around the topic of sustainability.

The Sustainability Librarian works under the direction of the Supervising Librarian and other management staff in a team-oriented and forward-thinking environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

A Masters degree in Library and Information Science from an American Library Association accredited program.

San Mateo County Health is seeking a well-qualified individual for the position of IS Data Specialist III to join team.

About San Mateo County Health (SMCH)

SMCH is comprised of nine service providing divisions (San Mateo Medical Center & Medical Clinics, Behavioral Health and Recovery Clinics, Aging and Adult Services, Public Health, Environmental Health, Family Health, EMS, Correctional Health, and Healthcare Coverage) and five support divisions (Admin, Communications, Finance, Health IT, and LEAP Institute).

The ideal candidate will develop Ad Hoc and Automated/Scheduled reports for San Mateo County Health (SMCH). This position will work on reports for all San Mateo County Health divisions, with a heavy focus on Hospital financial and operational reporting. Reports are primarily written in TSQL and are scheduled using Mirth Connect. The report inputs are primarily MS SQL databases and csv datasets from multiple eHR applications. The reports are primarily output into Excel Pivot Tables, csv data sets, or PowerBI dashboards. This position will be heavily focused on implementing our Regulatory Reporting in our new Data Platform from Innovaccer. and may produce reports for the Epic Build Team.

The position will monitor automated jobs for success and respond as necessary. This position could also be working with Health IT staff to automate data engineering ELT (Extract-Load-Transform) tasks, document current data processes, and other duties as assigned. The role involves creating and supporting SQL procedures and job scheduling scripts, requiring knowledge of health and health finance terminology, and a thorough understanding of health privacy regulations such as HIPAA and 42CFR Part II.

Preferred experience includes working with eClinical Works (eCW) data structures, Cerner/Soarian/DSS data structures and tools, Envision financial, revenue, and reconciliation reporting, and familiarity with state and federal reporting programs like GPP, UDS, QIP, and FQHC. Additional skills in producing audit and compliance reports, optimizing SQL queries and databases, and interfacing systems using HL7 v2, v3, and FHIR are highly valued. Bonus experience includes programming in C#, R, or Python, working with EPIC data structures and tools, Innovaccer DAP, managing a Master Patient Index (MPI) and a Health Information Exchange (HIE), producing Crystal Reports, performing statistical analytics, and working with Medicare, Medi-Cal, and Health Plan of San Mateo (HPSM). Familiarity with state and federal system data structures such as CAIR2, CalREDDIE, and ARIES is also a plus.

The salary range for Community Programs Administrator is: $113,327.76 - $138,072.48 Annually.

This salary range includes an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation. Actual salary shall be determined by the final candidates' qualifications and experience.

This Community Programs Administrator (CPA) will be part of the Education and Learning Pathways Division of the Library Department and will be housed at the Seven Trees Branch Library.

This position will provide oversight of the Seven Trees Branch Library as well as coordinate with other City departments to provide wrap around services in the Santee neighborhood, a Children and Youth Services Master Plan (CYSMP) demonstration site. This position will function across the department to support early education, adult literacy, ESL, Citizenship, and other library services for families in the Seven Trees/Santee neighborhood. The CPA will analyze available data and work with City departments to identify service priorities, partnerships, and opportunities related to support for educational and employment attainment of community members in the Santee neighborhood.

This position will:

• Develop strategies to monitor and evaluate programs and services in alignment with adopted quality standards and ensure that all programs at Seven Trees are executed against those standards.
• Identify gaps in service and programs and develop a strategic plan to address issues.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have current knowledge of the CYSMP, collaboration models, data collection, and analysis methodology as well as the ability to lead development of enhanced service models.
• Be a self-starter who takes initiative yet seek approvals and keep leadership informed as appropriate

The County of San Mateo's Information Services Department seeks a qualified IS Manager II to serve on its Applications Team. The candidate will be an integral part in assisting the Division Manager of Applications to maintain, integrate, and support all Countywide applications supported by ISD and applications that departments request ISD to create and/or maintain on their behalf. The IS Manager II will plan, coordinate, and implement comprehensive Countywide automation and systems development efforts or Countywide information services security policies and programs; coordinate, direct, and/or evaluate the work of staff and/or County employees engaged in programming and systems analysis work or policy/program implementation; assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of goals, objectives, policies and procedures related to the functions of the department; may select, train and provide direction to the subordinate professional, technical and clerical staff; and provide highly complex staff support to senior level management within assigned area of specialization.

The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing and documenting business processes, identifying needs, and providing data-driven recommendations to improve the organization's efficiency and productivity.
