• Oversees and managers Adult Sport League games and is present before and after designated scheduled game times
• Assists in tracking payroll for all per diem workers
• If necessary, will cover shifts for scorekeeping or gym attendant when no subs are available
• Back up to the field preparation position
• Manage the gym schedule, staffing and be a back up to rental officers, if necessary
• Takes game photos of all Sport League games
• Provide excellent customer service.

Scorekeepers will be responsible for putting out and picking up the bases at the beginning and end of night, turning on and off the field lights, keeping score for each game played and keeping the official game time and other duties as assigned. This is a part time, non-benefited position, up to 30 hours per week and limited to 960 hours in a fiscal year (July-June). You must be available to work Monday-Friday during the hours of 6pm-10:15pm, from early March – mid-November.

• Monitors park areas by foot to assist the general public and sports groups in the use of the park areas.
• Responds to inquiries and complaints and ensures safe use of the facilities.
• Documents all emergency and first-aid contacts.
• Reports possible safety hazards and/or unsanitary conditions to the Recreation Supervisor.
• Assist in keeping accurate records of forms, inventory and supplies
• Supports City or Department-sponsored events as required.

What You'll Do

The Calibration Technician installs, maintains, calibrates, tests and repairs a variety of data acquisition, radio communications, and instrumentation for wastewater collection and treatment plant systems; assists in the oversight of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) computer systems and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) to perform skilled electrical, electronic and mechanical work related to inplant metering equipment and remote controlled devices; operates, monitors, and controls an advanced wastewater treatment (tertiary) system; and  performs other related work as required.

Depending upon assignment, duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assist in the installation, calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic and electromechanical equipment to ensure proper operation; assist in the troubleshooting and repairing of control system and electrical power failures in the WWTP, pump and lift station.
• Install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electronic and electromechanical equipment to ensure proper operation; maintain and troubleshoot computerized process control equipment such as PLCs, RTUs, and SCADA system devices; troubleshoot control system and electrical power system failures in plants, lifts and pump stations; and maintain awareness of new related technology.
• Confer with operators, mechanics, project engineers and supervisors regarding SCADA issues.
• Respond to and resolve internal customer complaints and issues; provide documentation as required.  Communicate in advance with affected staff on programming and related SCADA work.
• Prepare reports on technical issues as required.
• Develop, implement, and maintain procedures for documenting activities in instrumentation and control areas related to programming of RTUs and HMI software, field implementation of programming change, and process control improvements.
• Interpret, prepare, and verify control schematics, diagrams and prints.  Provide technical assistance and guidance to staff. Program control systems, instruments and computer operated devices.
• Install, troubleshoot, modify, and implement computer hardware and software applications and components.  Analyze and correct data communication and acquisition system problems.
• Install, test, repair, calibrate and maintain complex electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment such as meters, temperature control devices, fire alarm equipment, and remote water quality analyzers controlling devices, including relays, rectifiers, and manometers.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

The Calibration Technician receives general supervision from the Wastewater Treatment Plant Maintenance Superintendent.  The position may provide technical or functional supervision related to the impacted systems to Plant operations or maintenance personnel, contractors or other designed personnel as required.

The Position

The Multipurpose Senior Service Program (MSSP) Case Manager will perform professional and clinical social work tasks and duties for older adults living with complex medical conditions to assist them to obtain optimum health, financial, and/or social services. As a member of the Human Services Department, this position reports to a Clinical Supervisor in the Aging and Family Services Division.

Under guidelines provided by the State of California, the MSSP Case Manager provides case management to frail seniors who are MediCal eligible and 65 years of age and older, to support them to live in their own home. This position joins a multi-disciplinary team of a social worker and a nurse and will perform case management functions in the cities of Fremont, Newark, Union City and Hayward. This position requires driving to conduct community visits, including visits to client homes and medical facilities. Participants in the MSSP program have significant medical and/or caregiving deficits and are at risk of further deterioration and/or institutionalization. The Case Manager will evaluate clients for medical appropriateness (RN only), conduct assessments (health and/or psychosocial), formulate detailed care plans, access/advocate for services, and monitor client care. The program serves a diverse client population, and the candidate must feel comfortable working with monolingual non-English speaking clients and/or through interpreters.

This is a regular, part-time position (32 hours/week) and will receive pro-rated benefits.

Examples of Duties

- Manage a caseload of 28-32 clients comprised of older individuals with complex medical conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive client assessments, and develop and monitor service plan.
- Collaborate with team members, Human Service programs, and community agencies.

The Position

The Case Manager will perform professional and clinical social work with individuals and/or families who are unhoused or housing insecure, and who may have complex social and medical needs including health care, financial assistance, employment opportunities, as well as housing assistance. As a member of the Human Services Department, this position reports to a Clinical Supervisor, under direction of the division manager of Homeless Care and Response (HCR), and is characterized by the responsibility to provide comprehensive psycho- social assessments and develop and implement care plans. These plans may focus on connecting clients  to public benefits, obtaining budgeting skills, accessing medical care, and obtaining more stable living arrangements. The position works within a team of professionals and will be required to work collaboratively with team members and community partners.  In order to perform responsibilities, the Case Manager will be required to conduct site visits in the company of another staff member in the field to locations where homeless persons may reside,  to medical facilities, and other community locations.

Role description

Under general supervision, assists in analyzing, planning, implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting and enhancing large complex systems or networks consisting of a combination that may include mainframes, mini-computers, personal computers, mobile devices, LANS, WANs, servers, data storage and the physical and logical components that integrate these systems together as an enterprise networking backbone. 

The 1042 Security Engineer is the journey level position in the Engineer series. The class is distinguished from the Senior level by the complexity of the tasks, projects or duties assigned, and is more independent than the Assistant level. This classification performs a wide range of complex analytical, design, planning, implementation, enhancement and problem resolution tasks on large complex systems and networks. Works within a framework of established procedures and interprets policies, procedures and guidelines. This level may formulate recommendations consistent with directives, policies, standards and regulations. Incumbents require only occasional instruction or assistance. Work is reviewed upon completion and for overall results. Serves as a technical architect and systems integrator for large complex systems or networks, with a focus on securing vulnerabilities and reducing risk of system and/or asset compromises.

Essential Duties:
 

1. Determine requirements for the development environment and / or enhancement for large complex systems that serve HSA’s programs. May research and conduct feasibility studies on new technologies.
2. Design, plan, integrate, test, implement, document and enhance large complex systems. This may involve the analysis, coding (.NET C#, Cold Fusion), web application design, database design, and evaluation of systems software, hardware and communications strategies.
3. Perform systems integration for interoperability over dissimilar platforms and technologies. This may involve the integration of various protocols and systems software.
4. Determine the proper installation parameters for software for smooth integration and efficiency in relation to the enterprise system and network.
5. Write code to customize large systems software which may involve specialized programming languages.
6. Read and understand requirements documentation and other documentation in order to write code to implement the required features for application systems.
7. Analyze, detect, identify and correct complex systems software or hardware deficiencies. Analyze, research and debug program logic and systems; modify program logic; analyze service requests for system changes or new requirements to determine the most effective approach and the appropriate staff time required to achieve the needed modification.
8. Provide emergency technical support for application issues to ensure system availability and data integrity. May provide on-call support to ensure rapid recovery from software or hardware problems for mission-critical systems and networks.
9. Act as the liaison between vendors, technical support hot-lines and departments to resolve complex systems. Coordinate and implement corrective measures; this may involve site visits, telephone assistance, remote systems and participation in technical committees.
10. Facilitate the demonstration and training of staff in the use of new hardware or software products.
11. Document procedures and troubleshooting techniques related to systems software and hardware; develop technical documentation and review documentation prior to general distribution.
12. Plan, develop and implement backup and recovery procedures for large systems.
13. Communicate with managers regarding system performance and operational issues. Suggest improvements to management.
14. Research and test new software technologies; report results; recommend software purchases. Learn and implement the new technologies that are brought in. Coordinate and work with vendors when needed. 
15. Attend meetings, workshops, and demonstrations; perform duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Role Description

As a Clinical Psychologist for the County Adult Assistance Program(CAAP), you will conduct professional-level work in screening and assessing CalWORKS and CAAP clients to identify and document disabling mental health conditions and associated functional limitations that enable them to qualify for Social Security Benefits.

Essential Duties Include:

• Conducts screening and assessment of clients with mental health related complaints, collateral interviews with primary care and behavioral health staff, and medical records review to support clients’ application for Social Security Benefits.
• Selects, administers, scores, and interprets appropriate psychological tests of intelligence, personality, aptitude, achievement, interest and other specialized areas and conducts diagnostic clinical interviews with emotionally disturbed, mentally ill, chemically dependent, and intellectually disabled adults to assess their impairments to provide medical evidence in support of clients’ application for Social Security Benefits as needed.
• Prepares psychological reports presenting diagnostic findings, interview findings, functional assessments, clinical evaluations, and recommendations for the Clients’ SSI eligibility.
• Reviews and evaluates psychological, psychiatric and/or neuropsychological data and case material.
• Provides education, consultation, and information to community providers, and CAAP’s multi-disciplinary team on adult adjustment problems, mental illness, chemical dependence, culturally relevant services, and other topics related to SSI eligibility.
• Supervises psychology interns and subordinate clinical staff not including class 2574 Clinical Psychologist; conducts staff training programs both within the clinic or unit and for line agency personnel.
