StopWaste is hiring an Energy Council Program Services Specialist to work on Bay Area Regional Energy Network (BayREN) programs. The position will conduct community outreach and engage with stakeholders to make energy upgrades and electrify multifamily and single family buildings in Alameda County and the larger Bay Area. It will also work on growing and strengthening the clean energy workforce to help achieve energy and climate goals. DEFINITION
Under general supervision, perform various planning work, with the primary responsibility of assisting the general public on planning, zoning, and environmental requirements. The position also helps review development and land use applications for zoning compliance, completes technical assessments and prepares written project analyses, and performs related work as required.
The Yuba County Sheriff’s Department is currently seeking one full-time Animal Care Technician. Under general supervision, Animal Care Technicians assist in the daily maintenance, feeding and care of animals housed in the county’s animal care facility including those subject to quarantine, injured or ill; assist with euthanizations; provide information to the public regarding lost or stray animals; assist with licensing, pet adoptions and community volunteer programs; and perform related work as assigned. This class is a working level class in the animal care series.
