Please keep in mind that if selected you will have to pass a background check. In order to get fingerprinted you MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE, STATE ISSUED ID, or VALID PASSPORT. It takes between 2-6 weeks to receive your STATE ISSUED ID, if done early this should be enough time before the soccer season begins.
Individuals must be able to officiate and control games, events, and competitions in a confident, appropriate manner. Ensure all participants understand and comply with game rules and assess penalties when needed. Make game calls with confidence and knowledge of league rules. Keep track of event start times, and start or stop play as necessary.
Ideal Candidate
- Ability to work with players and coaches is highly desirable
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old
- Commitment to excellence - Ability to develop and maintain a high standard of professional conduct and civil responsibility.
- Knowledge & understanding of the rules of soccer
- Understanding the position of the referee
- Certification of CNRA
