We are located in the heart of Redwood City and conveniently located near Caltrain and highway 101. Our multidisciplinary teams are dynamic and dedicated to serving Adult Clients with Severe Mental Health Illness in outpatient setting.

The Bilingual Spanish Psychiatric Social Worker / Marriage and Family Therapists will provide specialized psychiatric assessment, brief treatment, and clinical case management services for adult clients with Severe Mental Illness. Principal duties will include mental health and substance use assessment and treatment; engaging clients to services; consultation with providers; and linkage/referrals to other community providers. The main role of this position will be working within a dynamic multi-disciplinary team to provide specialized psychiatric casework and care coordination, provide individual and group psychotherapy, case management, and refer clients to Private Provider Network and/or community agencies for additional services.
The primary duties will include care coordination for a clinical case load, mental health assessments; treatment planning, case management; crisis management; individual psychotherapy; and collaborating with multidisciplinary team which includes psychiatrist, registered nurses, PSW SW and LMFT, and Case managers. Clinician will also perform “Officer of the Day” duties.
Collaboration and coordination of services with other providers is an essential piece of the services to be provided, therefore candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills. The clinician may consult and collaborate with other teams in BHRS and community agencies and contract providers.

Minimum qualifications include:
Licensure/Certification
Psychiatric Social Worker I: Registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Clinical Social Worker. An individual hired in this classification must become licensed within six years from the original date of registration as an Associate Social Worked issued by the State of California.
Psychiatric Social Worker II: Current California license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Marriage & Family Therapist I: Registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. An individual hired in this classification must become licensed within six years from the original date of registration as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist issued by the State of California.
Marriage & Family Therapist II: Current California license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
Education and Experience
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to qualify is a Master's degree in Social Work, Social Welfare or a closely related field.
Salary:
Psychiatric Social Worker I/Marriage & Family Therapist I:
$43.56 - $54.46 Hourly
$90,604.80 - $113,276.80 Annually
Psychiatric Social Worker II/Marriage & Family Therapist II:
$48.98 - $61.26 Hourly
$101,878.40 - $127,420.80 Annually
