Town of Portola Valley

The Town of Portola Valley is located in the hills above Silicon Valley, west of Interstate-280, and is home to approximately 4,500 residents. Fourteen staff members work daily to provide engaged residents with excellent customer service while protecting the Town’s core values: sustainability and preservation of the land while maintain fiscally prudent government operations. The Town is a contract city that operates under the Council-Manager form of government and its departments include building, planning, public works, sustainability, and administration.
