Description

Under supervision from the Boxing Coach, the Boxing Program Attendant will do daily tasks needed to assist in maintaining the Boxing Program. 

 

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES (illustrative only):

  • Greet and assist boxing program participants and coaches.
  • Provide customer service to the participants and their families.
  • Set-up, take down and clean-up boxing programs and classes.
  • Issue and collect equipment.
  • Provide basic operational instruction of boxing and fitness equipment.
  • Monitor safety ensuring the gym area is clear of potential hazards.
  • Maintain accurate records including membership, fees, and inventory of sale.
  • Daily cleaning and sanitization of gym area and equipment.

Ideal Candidate

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Boxing or fitness experience is desirable.

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Hours will range from 5 – 12 hours a week, depending on what days and times Boxing Gym is open.
  • The Boxing Gym typically operates 2 – 3 days a week on weekdays:
    • Full Shift: 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.
  • *USA Boxing Membership 
  • *CPR/AED Certified 

*A certification course is provided by the City
