The City of San José is recruiting for a Business Automation and Development Services Supervising Applications Analyst (SAA) in the Business Automation and Development Services Division of the Information Technology Department. The position requires a highly motivated and self-driven individual to lead a team responsible for the City's Permitting and Compliance System (Granicus GovService Amanda platform), Public Web Portal, Records Management System, Electronic Plan Review System (ProjectDox from Avolve), Business Intelligence System, Queue Management System, and Digital Inspection System. San Mateo County Health - San Mateo Medical Center is seeking a well-qualified and experienced Materials Management professional for the position of the Director of Materials Management.

Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Materials Managementwill plan, organize, direct and supervise the operations of the Material Management division for the San Mateo Medical Center including central supply, purchasing and receiving, inventory control, contract coordination, laundry, mailroom, and transportation. The Directorprovides leadership to permanent and temporary employees as well as contractors who provide specific services.

Additionally, the successful hire will assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of goals, objectives, policies and procedures; provide staff support to higher-level management; and select, train, and supervise subordinate professional, technical, and clerical staff. This position exercises direct and indirect supervision over managerial, technical and clerical staff. This level assists in the recommendation and development of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities related to a specialized service or program; and is responsible for implementing these objectives.

The City of San José is hiring an Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services (PBCS) Technical Lead (Enterprise Supervising Technology Analyst) to provide technical support for Oracle PBCS which is used to prepare the City's Capital, Operating, and Revenue Budgets. The PBCS Technical Lead will also support the three custom budget applications: Fees and Charges, Ordinance Tracking, and Budget to Finance ERP Interface and the Budget Office (BO). The BO is responsible for developing and managing the City's operating and capital budgets and service fees and charges. This position requires strong technical hands-on experience and leadership skills, as well as the ability to take initiative and lead others. We are seeking an individual who is willing to adapt to an ever-changing environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and functional background supporting Oracle PBCS and/or Oracle Hyperion Planning, and multi-dimensional databases with strong analytical skills. In addition, development experience using .NET Framework, Java, or JavaScript to effectively manage and support custom-developed applications is essential. Expertise should cover the entire system implementation lifecycle including gathering business requirements, creating functional and technical designs, application development, and administration.
Key duties include but are not limited to:

The Position

Administering all county procurement and contracting efforts and with an eye toward efficiency and effectiveness, the Director of County Procurement (Director) will plan, direct, coordinate, organize, and manage all division activities to maximize strategic sourcing, contracting, procurement, supply chain management, and the use of supporting technologies for the purchasing of materials, products, and services. The Power Resources Specialist I/II position reports to a Principal Power Resources Specialist in the Power Resources Division. This position is part of an exciting, fast-paced team responsible for procuring hundreds of megawatts of renewable energy projects. The selected candidate will have the following duties and responsibilities: 

• Supports the preparation, issuing, and evaluation of solicitations for long term renewable energy, energy storage services, Resource Adequacy, energy and other power products, including overseeing or supporting consultants.  

• Plans and supports the negotiation and execution of power contracts, including facilitating complying with City contract execution requirements. 

• Assists in the management, analyzing, and enforcing of power contracts, including long term renewable energy contracts through development, construction, and operation.  

• Assists in efforts to pursue opportunities for the City to develop City-owned power assets.  
• Participates in completing analysis and prepare procurement plans, including managing consultants, developing procurement strategies.  
• Supports and undertakes projects related to power, procurement, and validation; assists in the approval of energy purchases or sales of surplus energy.
• Collaborates with the regulatory team in drafting required regulatory filings such as integrated resources plans and renewable procurement plans.  
• Collaborates with the account management team to develop new products desired by customers, such as direct renewables and feed-in-tariffs.  
• Participates in joint procurement with other Community Choice Aggregators (CCAs) and CA Community Power.  
• Develops and maintain relationships with power suppliers and consultants.

Salary Information:

The total annual salary range for a Power Resources Specialist I is $93,868.32 - $114,397.92.The total annual salary range for a Power Resources Specialist II is: $102,145.68 - $124,444.32. These ranges include an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable pay. Actual pay shall be determined by the candidates' qualifications and experience.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The City of Gilroy is currently recruiting for a full-time Senior Civil Engineer for the Engineering Division of the Public Works Department. The Senior Civil Engineer will work under the direction of the City Engineer and/or the Public Works Director and will lead the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Section. The Senior Civil Engineer classification is an exempt, mid-management level position.

Public Works CIP projects involve planning, design, coordination with end users, bid package preparation, and construction management. Therefore, exceptional organizational and project management skills are imperative to achieve department and City goals. Additionally, successful performance requires the ability to independently implement programs, projects, and policies in conformance with generally accepted standards, including possessing thorough knowledge of contract administration, project management principles and supervisory practices.

The Senior Civil Engineer will manage assigned staff and consultants and assist with budgeting tasks within the Engineering Division. Furthermore, the Senior Civil Engineer will provide and participate in critical team leadership to ensure that all engineering services, goals, projects, and initiatives meet the high-performance standards of the Department and City.

The San Bruno Police Department

• Must currently be employed as a full time paid, sworn police officer for at least two years, or have been employed for at least 24 months as a full time paid sworn police officer in a civilian governmental jurisdiction prior to application; or  

• Possession of a valid California P.O.S.T. Basic Certificate or equivalent as approved by P.O.S.T. 

• Must have successfully completed a current California P.O.S.T. Basic Training Police Academy or equivalency.

DEFINITION 

As a Building Attendant, you will be responsible for the daily upkeep and maintenance of the Burlingame Community Center, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a hands-on individual with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Hours (6-20 hours per week)

Hours depend on rentals and special events.

• Monday - Thursday         7:30 am - 9:15 pm
• Friday - Saturday             7:30 am - 5:30 pm

Shifts depends on special events and rentals.

Duties may include, but are not limited to the following: 

• Open, close and secure recreation facilities.
• Sets up and tear down tables and chairs in meeting rooms and keep inventory of meeting room equipment.
• Provide a variety of office related functions including program registration, answering public inquiries both in person and on the phone.
• Perform light maintenance to maintain equipment, rooms and the overall appearance of the building.
