DUTIES

Meeting Support: Post meeting information on the website, conduct quorum checks, assist in setting up for two monthly morning meetings, prepare minutes, coordinate follow-up action as needed and assist with occasional community events.
Document Management: Organize, track, and maintain physical and electronic files, including meeting agendas and packets, resolutions, key agency documents, employee information, etc. Digitize and organize archived files.

Billing: Manage and track incoming invoices, apply finance codes to invoices and checks, collaborate with contract accountant and finance staff, manage the agency credit card, and oversee billing related to specific programs. Regularly deliver invoices and deposits in-person to the City of San Pablo City Hall.

Bocce Referee
As a Sausalito Parks and Recreation Bocce Referee, you are responsible for set-up, management, and cleanup of scheduled Bocce matches. You are the enforcer of rules, an impartial judge, and an advocate for fun and fair play. The ideal candidate will maintain a positive attitude and provide a friendly environment when communicating with teams and keeping score. This position reports directly to the Recreation Supervisor.   The ideal candidate must meet all minimum requirements as listed below and be confident and capable of dealing with conflict and intense games.  

Event Staff

As a Sausalito Parks and Recreation Event Staff member, you are responsible for actively participating in set-up, cleanup, and management of your assigned event.  You must arrive on time and remain until the event leader release you after the event.   Event staff may set up chairs, tables, stages, corridors, and barriers.  You may be asked to perform traffic control or direct drivers to parking.   The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, smile often, meet all of the minimum requirements below, remain calm under pressure and in the face of adversity, be cheerful, and love the diversity of people. 

The minimum requirements for the position are:

• Reliable transportation to and from games or events

Senior Programs:

The City of San Bruno Community Services Department is seeking a Recreation Coordinator to coordinate the planning, organizing, coordination, and administration of community recreation programs for age 50-plus adults under the supervision of a Recreation Services Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for professional recreation duties, encompassing the planning, organization, coordination, and supervision of programs at the San Bruno Senior Center. We are seeking candidates with substantial experience in recreation programs related to the aging community.

General Programming:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at the forthcoming state-of-the-art aquatic and recreation facility set to open in Summer 2024. The brand-new 49,360 sq ft facility will feature indoor and outdoor lap pools, a zero-entry wading pool, fitness amenities, a gymnasium, a walking track, and ample space for programming and rentals.

Experience in recreation programs with the public is highly desirable.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Work is performed in an office environment in close proximity to other workers.  Incumbent shall be exposed to those conditions normally encountered in a business office environment.  Physical demands require frequent standing, reaching, leaning, twisting, grasping, lifting and sitting for prolonged periods of time.  Must carry moderately heavy boxes up to 50 pounds and/or utilize a dolly.  Incumbent must be able to drive safely to various City sites.  Incumbent must be able to see and hear in the normal range, with or without correction.  Incumbent must have the stamina to work long hours and overtime, if assigned, and be willing to work an irregular schedule, which might include evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying hours.

The Management Analyst position is an exempt/confidential, professional-level position that works on a variety of assignments and projects, providing support to multiple program areas including fiscal support, human resources support, board secretary support, and utility billing and account support.

Minimum requirements are a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of increasingly responsible professional experience in public administration, finance, or other relevant functions OR an Associate Degree and 12 Years of professional experience in public administration, finance, or other relevant functions.  A valid CA driver's license is required.

Afterschool program site leads work in the formal Suisun City classification of Recreation Specialist II. Starting hourly rate will depend on qualifications. This position works on average 19 hours per week.

the department: The Recreation, Parks and Marina Department is responsible for the operations and programs of the Suisun City Marina, the Senior Center and the Joseph A. Nelson Center, including preschool, after-school programs at various sites, recreation classes and sports leagues, community events and special event rentals.

The Position:  Responsible for maintaining the coordination, implementation, and administration of designated after school program. The specific duties of the After School Program Site Lead include program and curriculum development and implementation, budget management, staff management, participation and coordination of staff development, and general oversight of the designated after school program. The position will provide a safe, nurturing, and well-supervised after school program; act as a liaison between the program and parents, stakeholders, school administration, and school district staff to provide for a collaborative, positive, beneficial program.
