The Town seeks a customer service forward Development Review Technician I/II/Senior to perform technical and administrative work in development review services including Planning and Building; assists the public at the counter, on the phone, over email, and other communications methods; provides technical information related to the application for and issuance of permit applications; accepts plans, calculates fees, routes and processes applications; and performs related work as required. This position serves as the front desk ambassador to the community at the front counter.

This position will report to the Planning and Building Director.

This position is part of an exciting fast-paced team responsible for mitigating risks and managing a power portfolio comprised of hundreds of megawatts of renewable energy projects.

The selected candidate will have the following duties and responsibilities:
 

• Support the administration of power purchase agreements (herein, referred as "contracts"), including monitoring and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Review, understand and interpret contracts; Support development of processes to ensure that the contracts are managed and settled timely, accurately, efficiently and in compliance with the contracted terms.
• Prepare, review and verify the accuracy of settlement statements and invoices for contracts.
• Support the administration of contract prepayment transaction activities related to invoices settlement.
• Interpret, analyze, communicate and resolve issues that arise during contract administration and support the dispute resolution process.
• Identify and flag any problems related to administration of existing contracts and suggest improvement for future contracts. Support implementation of process improvements in contract management.

THE POSITION

Tri-City Mental Health Authority is currently hiring to fill three (3) full-time vacancies for the position of Psychiatric Technician I/II within the Mobile Crisis Care Program (MCCP). Tri-City’s MCCP is a 24/7 mobile crisis response team with shifts that may include evenings, weekends, daytime hours, and holidays. Weekend and night shifts will be entitled to Shift Differential Pay of $2.50 per hour on weekdays (Monday through Friday) and $3.50 per hour on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Holiday shifts will be entitled to Holiday Pay.

Tri-City is looking for individuals to serve as a Psychiatric Technician I/II on a full-time basis for the MCCP. The MCCP Psychiatric Technician will be part of a team that provides crisis intervention and stabilization, linkage and referral, consultation, and education within the scope of practice. The MCCP Psychiatric Technician will report to the Mobile Crisis Care Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Program Manager.

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Respond to client’s (Full-Service Partnership and Adult and Children’s Outpatient Programs and other specialty mental health services) crisis calls with or without law enforcement;

• Perform field-based and telephone emergency mental health evaluations and crisis stabilization in accordance with agency procedures;

• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services to individuals, groups, and families;

• Identify treatment needs and make appropriate referrals for necessary services;

• Assist clients and relatives with understanding behavioral health problems and their reaction to them;

• Work on a multidisciplinary team for crisis response.

• Perform triage and linkages to non-client community members in the Tri-City catchment areas.

• Perform critical incident debriefs at the request of a community partner.

• Ability to respond to a mobile crisis in the community catchment area (Pomona, Claremont, and La Verne) within 60 minutes of disposition.

• Follow up with clients who receive mobile crisis services and collaborate with the client's treatment team for warm hand-off.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to calls during assigned shifts including: after regular business hours, late evenings, overnight hours, and on weekends; field work may be required.

The City of Berkeley invites you to apply for the position of Senior Planner! In this role, you will provide lead direction and conduct complex projects in the area of Transportation, Land Use, or Rent Stabilization. The current vacancy is in the Transportation Division of the Public Works Department.

As a Senior Planner in Transportation, you will lead the Vision Zero Program, aiming to eliminate severe injury and fatality traffic crashes by 2028. With the support of an Associate Planner (Vision Zero Program Coordinator), you will be responsible for managing program elements outlined in the Berkeley Vision Zero Action Plan, including administration, interdepartmental and interagency coordination, capital projects, and public awareness initiatives. You'll serve as project manager for major corridor and "quick build" capital projects on the Vision Zero High Injury Streets, and will lead the conceptual design, public engagement, environmental clearance and Berkeley City Council approval of these projects.

In the Land Use Division of the Planning and Development Department, the Senior Planner is responsible for managing complex and large projects, including General Plan updates, plans focused on Berkeley’s Priority Development Areas, Zoning Ordinance amendments, grant-funded projects, and State-mandated reports and projects.

When assigned to the Rent Stabilization Board, the Senior Planner leads projects and programs associated with Berkeley’s Rent Ordinance, which regulates most residential rents in Berkeley, protects tenants against unwarranted evictions, and is intended to maintain affordable housing and preserve community diversity.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A typical way of gaining the knowledge, skills, and abilities for this classification is:
Equivalent to graduation from a four year college or university with major coursework in city or regional planning, urban planning, or a field related to the work, and four (4) years of professional planning experience, including two (2) years at a level equivalent to that of the Associate Planner.

Progressively responsible related experience may be substituted for the college coursework on a year-for-year basis.

Must be able to attend evening meetings as required. A valid California driver's license is desirable.

Within the Community Development Agency, the Program Coordinator in the Planning Division will work under the direction of a Principal Planner to coordinate the daily operations of one or more planning-related programs that assist the County in achieving its Countywide Plan goals and State mandates. Potential programs will include implementation and coordination of the new Short Term Rental program and could include other planning programs. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that program goals and objectives are met in accordance with established policies, timeframes, and funding and/or fee limitations. San Mateo County Health is excited to be able to offer a full-time, benefited, unique job opportunity to well-qualified individuals for the position of Supervising Nurse Practitioner (Supervising NP) Forensic Medical Unit, as part of San Mateo Medical Center's Keller Center.

The Keller Center for Family Violence Intervention is a unique outpatient medical unit affiliated with San Mateo Medical Center Emergency Department. We perform forensic medical exams on victims of assault and abuse and work in a collaborative multidisciplinary team that includes law enforcement, the District Attorney’s office, Child Protective Services, Aging and Adult Services, and several community agencies. We also provide education and serve as a resource for other community hospitals and clinics.

The Supervising Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with the Medical Director of Specialty Services and Deputy Director of Ambulatory Nursing in planning, organizing and directing the activities and staff of the Keller Center along with developing standards of practice for forensic exams and reporting. This classification is distinguished from the Nurse Practitioner Series for having full administrative supervisory responsibility over other Nurse Practitioners. The selected individual will spend up to 30% of time in direct patient care at SMMC, which includes performing forensic medical exams for victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, elder abuse and child abuse. Testifying in court will be part of the job responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

• At least two years of forensic examination training and experience
• Trauma Informed Care training and experience
• Experience bringing diverse viewpoints and stakeholders together successfully to accomplish goals and commands the trust and respect of others
• Interest in team-based care and creating a positive patient experience, and has demonstrated innovation and initiative in realizing that vision
• Has overseen and led complex projects and coordinated interdisciplinary teams
