The Position

As a key member of the Police Department's management team, the Police Records Administrator (Manager) plans, organizes and supervises the activities of a Police Records Unit engaged in the processing of police reports and warrants, the accessing of law enforcement information networks, the preparation of records for prosecution, and reception of the general public. The incumbent has considerable latitude in the application of departmental policy, following general guidelines and professional and administrative standards in accomplishing assignments. Review of work is occasional or on a problem basis with the incumbent presenting alternative courses of action and responsible for implementation of changes. The position may also provide oversight and coordination of digital evidence and the Property & Evidence Unit activities.

The Ideal Candidate

The selected candidate will possess advanced level knowledge of procedures and protocols used in police records policies. In addition, the successful candidate will possess strong written and oral communication abilities and the ability to demonstrate proficiency interpreting and explaining department policies and procedures.

3.        Have satisfactorily completed a P.O.S.T. approved academy.

4.         Possess a valid Class CCalifornia Driver's License by date of appointment.

5.         Possess a personal history which is compatible with the effective performance of sworn police duties.

6.         Have the physical strength, stamina and agility adequate to perform all duties of a Police Officer.

The Position

The Building Inspector Specialist (Plumbing) enforces the provisions of the Plumbing codes by inspecting both new projects and additions and alterations to existing residential, commercial and industrial buildings; provides technical expertise and training in an assigned functional area; may be assigned to assist at counter or in development activities; and performs related duties as required.

Examples of Job Duties

- Performs inspections, plan checks, and related duties in the specialized plumbing field of building inspection.
- Investigates unlisted equipment and suspect substandard installations to determine product equivalency.
- Resolves disputes over interpretation and application of building codes.
- Reviews building plans to determine compliance to specialized systems and methods and schedules of inspection.
- Meets with City officials, business representatives and the general public to discuss specialized facets of inspection, including procedures and problems.
- Represents the City at meetings and conferences in a positive, constructive, and complementary manner.
- Reviews and approves building permits.
- Trains staff in assigned building inspection specialty.
- Performs combination building inspection duties.
- Prepares correspondence and reports.
- Maintains building inspection records.

$5,000 Signing Bonus
There is a 4% COLA that will be effective the first full pay period of July 2023, 2024, and 2025.  Sworn staff have the option of contributing the unused health insurance balance to a 457 or taxable cash of unused balance (up to $670/month).

Lathrop Police Department 
The City of Lathrop Police Department was established in June 2022. The Department consists of the Chief of Police, 2 Commanders (Operations and Support Divisions), 6 Sergeants, and 31 Police Officers. Police Officer

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience

College-level coursework and specialized training in law enforcement, criminal justice, or a related field are highly desirable.

Additional Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age; must successfully complete a comprehensive P.O.S.T. background investigation, physical examination, drug testing, and psychological evaluation; must be legally authorized to work in the United States by federal law at the time of appointment and meet all California State Minimum Selection Standards set forth by P.O.S.T. and California law.

Senior Civil & Environmental Engineer
Salary Range: $95,900/yr. - $189,900/yr. (Budgeted salary range $95,900/yr. - $142,900/yr.)

Use advanced engineering concepts and organizational objectives to provide leadership and support focused on engineering, project management, and compliance for the Facilities Management: Utilities department. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum License/Certification:

• Current registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of California.

• Over ten years of experience in engineering design, master planning, plan review, project administration and facility operation in storm, water, water reuse, sanitary sewer and solid waste systems.
• Extensive experience with interpreting regulations, permitting, and regulatory compliance for water, wastewater, and solid waste operations.

Preferred Education/Experience:  

• Experience with Capital Improvement Project (CIP) budgeting and with developing sewer, water and treatment plant master plan documents and condition assessments.
• Experience with water and wastewater system maintenance; understanding of Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) principles.

The Newark Recreation and Community Services Department is looking for Pool Service Technician for our fantastic swim lesson and aquatic programs, to work at the Silliman Activity & Family Aquatic Center. We are looking for someone to perform a wide variety of duties related to maintaining the City’s Aquatics facilities, pools, water slides and property. Swimming experience is desired. Those that are successful in the application review will be invited to attend an interview either in person, or via ZOOM. Please note that this position requires you to work in an indoor aquatic environment subject to warm/humid temperatures.
