THE POSITION

Tri-City is recruiting to fill the position of Quality Assurance Specialist II within our Best Practices Department. The Quality Assurance Specialist II is responsible for facilitating the Agency's Electronic Health Record (EHR) training and carry out duties to maintain Tri-City's Quality Assurance Program in accordance with specified county, state, and federal laws and regulations, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).  This position will report to the Quality Assurance Supervisor.

This position will perform the following essential duties, including, but not limited to:

• Assists with maintaining the Authority’s quality assurance program in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, Authority rules, guidelines and values; develops systems and standards for compliance evaluation; implements training, monitoring, and processes to ensure that Authority activities are in compliance with specified laws; recommends ways to integrate the quality assurance message into all aspects of the Authority’s business and human relations.

• Assists in determining the type and frequency of training needs; collaborates with the Quality Assurance Supervisor in the design and delivery of training; develops job specific training manuals to be used during staff training for each health center implementation and ongoing support.

• Coordinates with the Quality Assurance Supervisor in the implementation of policies and procedures concerning best practices and compliance issues.

• Reviews charts in the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system to monitor clinical staff records and to ensure compliance; trains staff and interns on documentation standards, new processes and on the chart review process.

• Assists with the facilitation of all internal and external quality assurance audits; assists program staff in preparing for audits; assists with collaborating on the implementation of any corrective action as a result of the audit.

• Participates in any needed training, meeting, committee, and compliance groups on monthly or quarterly basis; facilitates quality assurance meetings, workshops, and committees in order to enhance documentation quality.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Department

The Human Services Department (HSD) delivers and supports services by forging long-term community partnerships, engaging with and building the capacity of the community to do its own problem-solving, and leveraging financial and volunteer resources. The Department’s nationally and internationally recognized programs support thousands of residents throughout their life course, from infants to elders. The Administration Division of HSD specifically supports a robust grants program that administers federal and local funding that addresses the needs of lower income Fremont residents. The Department receives approximately $2.2 million in annual federal funding from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and an additional $800,000 in local funding to administer to non-profit and community agencies that provide vital services to Fremont’s most vulnerable residents.

The Position

The Senior Accounting Specialist is responsible for a variety of advanced level fiscal clerical assignments. This position provides administrative support of federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership Programs (HOME) programs related to affordable housing and services to low income residents.

Examples of Job Duties

• Prepare and execute contracts for CDBG, ESG, HOME, and SSG Grant Programs.
• Provide contract administration/clerical support, which includes keeping and maintaining detailed records and information required by federal grant programs.
• Prepare and execute purchases orders, process invoices, and keep grant accounting records.
• Provide support of the CDBG Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) meetings and provide assistance through the coordination of the meeting schedule, preparation of meeting agendas, summary notes of meetings, and other materials (requires evening attendance).
• Assist in the Request for Proposal (RFP) Process for all grant programs and provide assistance in operating Zoom Grants for the intake, review, and final scoring of grant proposal applications.
• Provide customer service assistance to subgrantee agencies for a variety of contract administration needs.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain records needed to help programs meet audit requirements.
• Process CDBG Rehabilitation loan payoff and subordination requests. Research and analyze loan agreement regulations on a case-by-case basis.

Pioneer Community Energy Seeks a 
Senior Manager, Quantitative Analysis and Modeling

The Senior Manager, Quantitative Analysis and Modeling is responsible for organizing, assigning, reviewing and participating in the work of personnel engaged in professional duties related to analysis and modeling, structured product development, portfolio risk management, and integrated resource planning. Duties include:

• Planning, prioritizing, reviewing and participating in the performance of professional analysis and modeling of risk and value around complex transactions and portfolio positions, including structured products, rate analysis and development, and hedging strategies.
• Developing methods and schedules to accomplish assignments, ensuring work is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Developing pricing and calibration models for a variety of products.
• Solving challenging quantitative problems related to setting rates and valuations for structured products.
• Developing Monte-Carlo simulations on a large scale across several variables with relevant coefficients. 
• Performing fast and accurate market risk measurements.
• Conducting complex market and portfolio modeling and analysis of Pioneer’s power supply position to effectively monitor exposure to adverse market changes.
• Coordinating and participating in Pioneer’s integrated resource planning process including providing analysis and input related to production cost modeling from the CPUC, CAISO, IOUs, and CalCCA.
• Creating and implementing measures to benchmark system implementations, enhancements, or modifications by providing documented system specifications, evaluating vendor proposals, and recommending appropriate course of action.
• Developing portfolio dashboard showing key metrics and risk positions.
• Using a variety of computer software programs to prepare reports, graphs and other materials related to energy resources, finance models and customer statistics. 
• Maintaining liaison with regional resource planning or supply agencies; serving on Pioneer committees as required; evaluating proposals in terms of resource costs, availability and consistency with long-term financial projections and resource needs.

Qualified candidates will possess a knowledge of California energy industry and electric power markets including CAISO, CPUC, CEC, and CARB, energy/financial markets and quantitative investment approaches, advanced computer modeling of power supply system operation and cost analysis and have the ability to perform complex professional analytical work in support of a variety of Pioneer’s product structuring and resource planning activities.

The Department

The Finance Department functions include budgeting, revenue collection, debt management, purchasing, cash management and investment, disbursements, accounting, and financial reporting. San Mateo County Health's Aging and Adult Services Division is seeking qualified individuals for the position of In-Home Supportive Services Social Worker II/III. Social Workers provide a wide variety of welfare services in such areas as information and referral, protective services, out-of-home services, health related services, chore services, and other welfare services within the Health and the Human Services Agency.
 
The current vacancy is in the In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Program that provides in-home care for persons who cannot safely remain in their own home without such assistance. The recipients of IHSS are aged, blind and/or disabled and eligible for Medi-Cal. Disabled and/or blind minor children may also be eligible for IHSS. The Social Worker will make a home visit to determine eligibility for the program and to conduct an assessment to determine a range of service hours for particular tasks. The IHSS recipient or guardian is the IHSS employer and is responsible for hiring and supervising a provider for the care they receive.  The Social Worker will travel throughout the County to conduct home visits, attend meetings and perform other duties of the position.  The Social Worker will work in the San Mateo, CA Aging and Adult Services Office.
 
This IHSS Social Worker will conduct intake and/or on-going activities for IHSS recipients. Some of those activities include:
 

• Conduct initial IHSS assessments using a detailed State assessment tool.
• Complete necessary documents, paperwork, and work within different information technology systems.
• Conduct annual reassessments.
• Educate, support, and perform administrative duties for IHSS recipients and care providers to understand/comply with program regulations.
• Provide education, outreach, and community resources information.
• Participate in quality improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with quality assurance and program integrity to ensure proper adherence to regulations.
• Prepare for and attend Fair Hearings.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings or other activities to support San Mateo County's vision for integrated services.
• Maintain oversight of case management needs for a caseload focused on serving IHSS recipients who are minors.
• Collaborate and facilitate service with care providers and other partner agencies.

 The ideal candidate will possess the following:
 

• Master's degree in Social Work.
• Experience providing clinical assessment for children, youth and adults with disabilities. 
• Understanding of human development and behavior within diverse populations.
• Ability to independently develop and implement sound case plans of action.
• Experience balancing client-centered care coordination and the accompanying administrative documentation.
• Familiarity in implementing program regulations.
• Superior organizational skills to manage a large caseload and related documents.
• Proficient computer skills to use several independent data base systems as well as Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Excellent writing/documentation skills.

SALARY
Social Worker II:   $6,564.13 - $8,205.60/month
Social Worker III:  $7,741.07 - $9,673.73/month

Social Workers provide highly skilled, intensive casework services to individuals and their families and provide casework consultation within the department and to outside agencies.  Incumbents of positions at this level work with minimal supervision and are expected to have acquired the high degree of assessment skills required to perform care coordination and referral tasks in complex casework areas. Lead supervisory responsibilities may be assigned as circumstances dictate.

NOTE:  The list created from this recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies, including classified, unclassified, term, full-time, part-time, temporary and extra help vacancies. The Town of Moraga is seeking a dynamic Administrative Assistant to provide support to the Town Manager.  Under general supervision, the Administrative Assistant performs a wide variety of routine to complex office, administrative and technical support tasks requiring the ability to apply specialized functions or services in order to support an assigned department; assists the public personally or directing by providing information to requests according to established procedures; sorts, logs and maintains records and other documents; follows policies, procedures and work methods associated with assigned duties; and performs related duties as required in a manner that is responsive, cost effective, and innovative. 

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:

The Administrative Assistant is the journey level in the Administrative Assistant series, in which employees are assigned the full scope of duties in an assigned department with only occasional instruction or assistance as unusual or unique situations arise. Incumbents perform a full range of administrative support duties, including organizing and coordinating workload; preparing reports; coordinating and assisting with the development of technical documents; and explaining Town ordinances, all requiring considerable department/program knowledge. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

DEFINITION: Under general supervision, assists instructor in swim classes, enforces all rules and regulations pertaining to the safety and well-being of visitors and patrons. Perform related work as required. NOTE: This program provides on the job training to prepare a swim aide to become a Swim Instructor. This entry-level aquatics position is designed to give valuable training and orientation to the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Program, and the Mill Valley Aquatics Program for Individuals who desire to work in aquatics but don’t have required experience. Minimum age required to apply, 14 years old. 

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

• Assist Swim Instructor to provide all levels of swimming to all age groups.
• Follow the Instructors’ guidelines and directions working with the group or an individual as needed.
• Maintain certain class records and reports as required.
• Prepare instructional equipment, and clean up after classes.
